Today was a pretty good day. I tried a new supplement that the guy at the store said I should take before I workout. It's not a preworkout, but it does help increase endurance. I felt amazing! As luck would have it, there was also a 20 minute run on the board today, so I got in a little over 2 more miles at the gym and didn't have to add more at home later. 5ish miles total for today, 5 tomorrow, 3 Friday, and 14 Saturday. Saturday is supposed to be a group run and I am pretty excited about it. I skipped running yesterday and I'm trying to make up for the missed miles.
Kennedy kind of had a rough day at the gym. She was scheduled for a doctors appointment in the afternoon and was due for her kindergarten immunizations. I debated for days about whether I should tell her before or wait till we got there. I told her this morning and that was NOT the right choice. She was so freaked out the whole day, so her emotions were just below the surface and everything upset her. It was sad. But swinging on the TRX straps cheered her right up.
Then we headed to the house to see the work Daddy had done. We have a new front door!!
I was having a dilemma because it looked so nice white, I wasn't sure I wanted to paint it. But then we found the Home Depot app where you can upload a picture and change the colors of things..
I tried a new paleo recipe for dinner tonight; beef and broccoli stir-fry. It was DELICIOUS!! I'm blogging from my phone so I can't link the blog with the recipe, but I'll try and get it up tomorrow.
