A Hard Day and Our Life Is Kinda Boring

I didn't blog yesterday. On purpose. So I kind of fudged up my goal to blog every day, but I think skipping was the best choice.

If you've seen Gilmore Girls and are familiar with Luke's "dark day", that was me yesterday. I don't have a particular reason for it, but every once in a while I have a "dark day" where I'm so off. I feel dark even. My emotions are at the surface and I really, really just want to be left alone. It sure sounds like PMS, but this is a little different. I can't explain it, but it just happens. So I opted to not blog and spend some time trying to unwind. And going to bed at 9:00.

Today I am much better, but sadly our lives are still kinda boring.

It's Tuesday which meant I had a 5 a.m. wake up call to run. 7 miles on the treadmill with 6 rounds of Yasso 800's, 1.5 miles at Yasso pace (I was feeling good), and then a half mile cool down at the end. Getting up that early without caffeine (GU) kind of kills me. And daylight savings has kind of been killing us, too.
I devoured my usual breakfast with a toddler spoon. Most of the spoons we have, have had a run-in with the disposal and lost... So I like the safety of the plastic.
After breakfast it was the usual: drag the kids out of bed, get them ready, get them fed, get K off to school, go to work, pick up K, go home, eat, naps... Etc. See? Boring. The most exciting part of my day is the mail/UPS delivery. Speaking of, remember Robert? The guy I met during the Big Cottonwood half last year from my running group who helped me to the finish? He made decals for our group and sent me one. I love it!
This was also delivered today because I just had to buy it.
And I even got a short nap. Photo cred: Kennedy.
After B woke up from her nap we went to the Distribution Center to get some gospel related pictures to make a quiet book for sacrament meeting. I decided to also surprise her with her first CTR ring. She loves it so much you'd think I bought her a puppy. She keeps telling everyone it's special. I sure love her. I also give it a week before she looses it. Good thing they're only a buck.

After dinner my mom took Kennedy to a dance concert and Brynlie and I got to cuddle and sing the wheels on the bus
Those are the babies cying. We are so photogenic.

One more week until Moab. This stupid weather had better shape up before then.

Oh, and I'm getting my hair done Thursday. I decided to combine option 1 and 2. I'm so freaking excited!!!
