Saturday Lisa, my mom, and I did the Wasatch Woman Love Your Body 6k. It was a big milestone for my mom because it was her first race. Because COPD related issues, she's not able to run so Lisa and I walked it with her. It was a lot of fun talking and I have to admit, although I felt like a fish out of water to be wearing a racing bib and not be running, it was nice to not care about my time or how hard I had to work. I could just enjoy the moment. I'm proud of my mom for sticking with it and doing her first race. She even beat her expected time by 10 minutes! Woohoo!! I have pictures but I'm on Cory's computer right now and it won't upload them, so I'll have to post them later. Way to go, Mom!!!
