Ah, the 4th of July! My favorite holiday. It was a really good weekend. Friday, I headed up to the Eaglewood fireworks with some friends from the neighborhood I grew up in. We kind of all parted ways as family and friends showed up, but we had fun while it lasted. I ended up staying with Melissa, her husband, and her two adorable kids. Her daughter Candice was my little buddy for the night. She must have sensed I needed it - my day hadn't started out so wonderful. We really had a lot of fun. Cory was even able to get off work early and make it up there just in time to watch the show with me. It was awesome.
Mindy and I. This girl is awesome! I'm smiling like an idiot because Mike was making fun of my smile behind the camera...
Melissa, Candice, and myself. (Mel, sorry if I'm spelling her name wrong.)
HAHAHA!!! I had to put this one up. Clearly the flash was too much for Cory. Oh man, I love that guy.
Saturday, Cory had to work again. His family and my family were both out of town and everyone I know down here had family plans. So, Kelly was kind enough to let me come up to Logan and hang out with her. We had a great time. We started off by going to a BBQ with Devin, Chris, and Jer. It was really good to see them again, even though we didn't stay long. Thanks for the burger guys! Then, we decided to go explore a couple places in Logan and Kelly drove me through campus so I could see it again. Next was Cafe Sabor for dinner and then we bumbed at Kelly's till I had to leave. It's always fun with Kelly! :) When I got home, Cory and I bought some fireworks and lit them off at my parents house. It's the first time we've done that together. We loved it! Anyway, it was a great weekend. I hope everyone else enjoyed themselves!!
The sunset coming out of Sardine Canyon. I had to pull over and take a picture.

I have no idea what I am doing, but the picture is funny anyway.
